Dear Supplier,The London Borough of Hounslow has a target to be a net zero authority by 2030.We know that the majority of our carbon impact comes from the goods and services we procure. We therefore need your support if we are to achieve our targets and become net zero for our residents and businesses. To work towards this, the eight West London Authorities and West London Waste have collaborated on developing a combined approach to engaging our suppliers on low and zero carbon. This will give you greater consistency and certainty.We would like to invite you to one of two sessions the WLA are running to explain this in more detail to you.We will be seeking your input on what you are already doing, or planning to do, to reduce your carbon emissions. You will also have the opportunity to ask us questions on how we are implementing this.The sessions are taking place on online using Zoom.There are two dates for you to choose from. You only need attend one session. When you have chosen, please make your own calendar invitation including the relevant zoom link. We will not be sending out appointments.
