Glasgow, UK - 31 October 2025, Glasgow City Council has officially awarded a major IT infrastructure contract to DataVita Limited for the provision of compute and storage services, marking a significant step in the modernisation of the Council’s digital backbone.The contract, valued at £44.93 million (excluding VAT), was finalised on October 8, 2025, following a competitive procurement process conducted through the Public Contracts Scotland-Tender portal (PCS-T).Scope of the ContractUnder the reference GCC006191CPU, the contract encompasses the provision, hosting, and management of datacentre, cloud, and storage infrastructure services.
