An asset register identifies all the relevant fixed assets of a property and is a key tool for the effective management of these; it provides clear data on asset:- Category (i.e. electrical / mechanical / fabric), - Type (i.e. motor, door, electrical distribution), - Manufacturer (make, model, rating, serial number), - Life cycle (installation date, remaining operational expectancy),- Risk factor (impact of asset failure against business continuity)- Operational demand (occasional, regular, 24/7), - ConditionThe Authority intenders for this register to enables the design of a bespoke and cost effective annual planned preventive maintenance programme.
