Description : Warwickshire County Council (WCC) currently commissions a Carer Wellbeing services (from age 18yrs) and a young carer support service (from 6yrs+ to 25yrs). Parent carers are currently being supported by WCC's Children with Disability team via a Parent Carer Support Pathway. These services provide support to: o promote mental and physical wellbeing, o reduce loneliness and isolation, o ensure carers feel connected o Ensure carers can access breaks and respite o assist with support and emergency planning, o peer support and group activities, 1:1 support, information, signposting and referral support on anything relevant to the carers needs.
