Abstract: Manage, Operate and maintain the Power Train Test Facility at the Low Carbon Transport Applications Centre (LOCATE) at Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc (MSIP) in Dundee which is Scotland-s home for zero emissions mobility.LOCATE will offer powertrain test capability for zero emission, heavy-duty vehicles. It aims to assist Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and system integrators in accelerating their product development and route-to-market by offering platform level system validation and optimisation support.It is anticipated that testing at LOCATE will predominantly focus on demonstrator and prototype vehicles or chassis with fully integrated drivetrains. With the emphasis on zero emission vehicles, LOCATE will only be available to battery electric and fuel cell electric drivetrain. There will be no testing of internal combustion engines.
