Description : Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award.Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to Northumbria University and University of Central London. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.The aims of the procurement and subsequent training contract are to:a. Deliver academic theoretical content on mental health law.b. Liaise with provider organizations to negotiate the additional experiential opportunity for candidates to garner and complete portfolio evidence.c. Facilitate the provision of mentors in practice for the cohortd. Monitor and supervise candidates progress towards submission of portfolio to the approvals panel.During 2020-21 Northumbria University and University of Central London were identified as having developed an Advanced Practice, Mental Health offer that was aligned to the Multi-Professional Approved/Responsible Clinician, Mental Health Training Course. This specialist P Cert level course combines both academic and practical clinical experience.
