This is the Request for Information used to engage early with suppliers and shape the requirement for the future Provision of Transport Services for the Movement of Fuels within the UK for the Front-Line Command. Service Specification2. As a background, the Authority has a requirement for the provision of transport services for the collection and delivery of Aviation and Marine fuels within the mainland United Kingdom The required service covers the provision of vehicles and drivers for the transportation (collection and delivery) of various fuels from storage sites to MOD locations. The service comprises the following elements:a. Routine haulage of aviation fuel to airfields and other aviation fuel users from the four Petroleum Supply Depots (PSD) road loading sites on the Exolum (previously CLH-PS) pipeline system. b.
