Abstract: This is a competitive procurement for the award of a contract to a supplier for the provision of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) Fuel by Bunker Barge to the Woolwich Ferries.The contract award will be to a single supplier who fully demonstrates the ability and best commercial value to provide the fuel supply and delivery by barge and method, as and when Woolwich Ferry instruct this method of supply and delivery.The vessels were built to receive fuel easily by barge and the engines are built specifically to receive Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (10ppm).Currently TfL uses fuel grade 0.1% specified as ULSD (Ultra Low Sulphur Fuel) fuelTo comply with the current and future emissions regulations Woolwich Ferry will be using the Hydrotreated vegetable oil or HVO and complies with the requirements of EN15940, which is now approved by the current OEM engine manufacturer - Documents :
