- Tenders are invited for Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invite competent consultants to carry out condition surveys on 34 of its properties. The council requires separate reports on each building and recommendations for the continued operational service of the building. Condition surveys must be undertaken in a systematic, uniform and objective basis for obtaining detailed information on the state of the council premises to inform remedial or refurbishment work required to prolong serviceable life. The surveys must involve on site examination of the constituent parts or elements of all identified buildings on a room-by-room basis. The surveys must be planned and co-ordinated to allow input from each site manager. The surveys must identify the works necessary to bring the premises and/or element up to Condition Category A and/or current prevailing standards, rectify any breaches of legislation and improve performance. Recommendations are to be prioritised and programmed either in each specific report or in a separate schedule to be actioned over a period of five years and also identify works to be planned for in the longer term.
