London Thamesport currently has four number container blocks, A to D, consisting of concrete roadways for haulier and rubber tyred gantry crane (RTG) access in each block. Shipping containers are stacked on beds made from track ballast between the concrete roadways.
The works were constructed in 2021 / 2022 and Thamesport are now looking to construct a fifth block; Block E.
