- Tenders are invited for Derry City and Strabane District Council seeks proposals from suitably qualified contractors for a community park with a play area, greenspace, allotments park car park etc. The site is located on Alder Road near Ballynagard Crescent and adjacent to the new housing development Woodland Avenue, Culmore, Derry and it is approximately 1.1 hectares. The works consist of elements such as establishment of services, relocation of existing manholes, establishment of a temporary construction site access for the duration of the works, dealing with Salmonberry, earthworks, drainage, SUD/attenuation, , tree protection zones, kerbing, footpaths, road and car park, emergency and maintenance access, potential pedestrian crossings of roads if required, , fencing/railing/walls and gates, installation of play equipment and safety surfacing, park lighting, street furniture, signage, , high quality soft landscaping and an allotment site.
