- Tenders are invited for Derry City and Strabane District Council seeks suitably qualified contracts for the redevelopment of Mitchell Parks- existing facilities with proposed works to include civil engineering, building and landscaping enhancements to the site, including the following key elements of work: Redevelopment of existing grass pitches into new floodlit 3G pitch, combining GAA and soccer games (approx. dimensions: 130m x 70m excluding run-off) with perimeter fencing and associated ball-stops. New site storage/coaching building/s. Retaining structures/walls. New perimeter walkway/footpath combined with trim trail complimentary exercise stations. Realignment, upgrade, and extension of existing on-site car parking provision. New complimentary, hard, and soft landscaping.
