Description : NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) specialist laboratories and blood collection teams use tube sealers to seal and/or separate plastic PVC tubing during the collection and processing of blood and components.
We are seeking to engage with suppliers who are able to supply and maintain tube sealers (static and hand-held). The current heat sealers are owned by NHSBT and the current maintenance contract ends 5 July 2021.
As part of your expressions of interest, you need to indicate which makes and models you are able to provide, including digital catalogue entries and datasheets. Please send this information via email to paul.jones@nhsbt.nhs.uk by no later than 17.00 (GMT) on 14 August 2020. (Note expressions of interest after this date will not be at a disadvantage).
It should be noted that this procurement exercise may allow other devolved authorities to utilise any contracts/framework agreements awarded.
