- Project Description:- Block BC was recently constructed as part of a major new development in Ulster University`s Belfast Campus. The block was handed over to the University in September 2022. This Contract is being let to maintain Block BC`s Wet Pipe Sprinkler Fire Suppression system. The Contractor will be responsible for the inspection, servicing and certification of all Sprinkler system equipment/components to comply with BS EN 12845, LPC Rules and Manufacturer`s recommendations this includes, • Weekly Sprinkler Valve / Fire Pump Test • Monthly Sprinkler Inspections • Quarterly Sprinkler Inspections • Semi-annual Sprinkler Inspection • Annual Sprinkler Inspection • Annual Service of Fire Pumps • Semi-annual Inspection of Fire Pumps • Annual Diesel Fire Pump Coolant Change The Contractor must provide a 24-hour call out service for reactive maintenance and repairs 365 days per year including Bank Holidays. Call out rates shall be submitted in Document 6 - Commercial Submission and remain valid for the duration of this Contract. The following callout response times shall apply for the duration of this Contract, • Standard Call Out: 4 hours from notification • Emergency Call Out: 1 hours from notification The Contractor must have a permanently supported email address to receive any request logged on the CAFM system and provide telephone numbers for normal and out of hours operation.
