Description : Somerset County Council is seeking to commission a service to support Somerset families using local volunteers in each district area who can offer help and bespoke support at a time of crisis. The service is required across the whole of Somerset and will be commissioned as 4 separate lots based on location:Lot 1: Somerset Family Support Service delivery in Somerset West and TauntonLot 2: Somerset Family Support Service delivery in SedgemoorLot 3: Somerset Family Support Service delivery in South SomersetLot 4: Somerset Family Support Service delivery in MendipThe Service Provider/s is to enable the development of strong relationships between volunteers and families, strengthening family capacity and resilience and promoting self-sufficiency through both modelling behaviours and providing support for positive parenting.The Authority is conducting this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
