A review of these incidents has revealed several recurrent themes. High quality safeguarding practice is a priority for the authority and we want to ensure learning is embedded in practice and process and adults at risk are placed at the centre of all safeguarding investigations. The purpose of this review is to look at the overall safeguarding process and identify good practice as well as knowledge gaps and potential improvements to structure and process.
