Abstract: The Welsh Government intends to invite tenders to undertake a review of its Grant Scheme to Promote and Facilitate the Use of theWelsh Language. The purpose of the review will be to provide an evidence base that will inform the future design and delivery ofthe Scheme, in the context of the Welsh Government-s strategy for the Welsh language, Cymraeg 2050: a million speakers. Thecontract will require expertise in a range of areas including theory-based research and evaluation; funding frameworks andprogrammes to promote social enterprise and partnership working, and language planning.
