Description : This Market Enquiry (ME) sets out the Trust's situation and objectives in respect of a replacement passenger ferry boat for Brownsea Island, and seeks initial information from various suppliers as to potential solutions, capacity, capability and market conditions. This ME will be used by the Trust to determine availability of supplier solutions, with a view to confirming requirements and seeking formal quotes or proposals at a later date. The Trust does not guarantee that any party responding to the ME will be included in subsequent stages of the selection process. The National Trust have operated the same staff passenger boat (the Enterprise) at Brownsea Island for 50 years. Changing MCA legislation, coming into effect at the end of 2024, will result in a significant reduction in the capacity of this boat, meaning that a replacement vessel is now being sought.
