This information must be reported annually as the UK Greenhouse Gas Inventory (GHGI) and the UK Air Quality Pollutant Inventory (AQPI), to fulfil the UK's national and international reporting obligations on climate change and air quality. The key output of the NAEI is the provision of high quality and consistent assessments of temporal trends and spatial patterns of emissions for national policy and public information.
