Description : RAPID RESPONSE OPERATIVE Rate of Pay: BAND D ?11.02 ph to worker Hours: 37 hours per week (7.30am - 3.30pm (during darker months), changing to 9am - 5pm during the summer months) Location: Council House, Oldbury (but boroughwide of Sandwell) Contract type: Temporary for 3 months Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Duties of the role are: o Attend fly tipped areas within the Sandwell Borough, inspect the rubbish and load onto truck o Search rubbish for evidence of culprit o Potentially dirty and dangerous work (searching rubbish may find dead animals, rotting meat, nappies, needles, etc) o Physically demanding, moving large or heavy objects (i.e.: mattresses) o Complete online forms regarding the fly tipped rubbish o Take photos on the Tablet (provided) and send to the Environmental Officers to investigate o Interact with members of the public who may attend th... - Documents :
