Description : ** Please note this is not a call for competition, This is a PIN notice for a Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy requirement**The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), will be holding a virtual Pre-procurement Event on the Portfolio Synthesis evaluation of the Energy Innovation Portfolio.During the event we would like to set out the components of the proposed work, the envisaged timescales and required skills, and obtain your thoughts and feedback on how to successfully specify and tender this work.As background:In 2015 the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) launched the £505m Energy Innovation Portfolio (EIP), with the aim of reducing UK carbon emissions and the cost of decarbonisation through accelerating the commercialisation of innovative clean energy technologies and processes. To date, evaluation work has focused largely on one or more of the over 74 innovation programmes that form the portfolio.
