Abstract: The Ministry of Justice requires a Contractor to provide the supply of Catering Disposables to all public sector prisons in England and Wales. There is also a requirement to supply to the probation service, MoJ offices, HMCTS, and privately run prisons on ad-hoc requests.Catering Disposables are critical items in a prison kitchen. These types of items assist with food preparation, service and storage, and ensure prison kitchens can feed over 80,000 prisoners as well as prison staff and visitors. The Contractor must be able to provide a core range products and have the ability to deliver products on a national basis. The number and location of prisons to which the Contractor shall be required to deliver may change to include additional prison sites as a result of the closure of some existing facilities and opening of new facilities.
