The specification for the replacement system is outlined in 2.1 below, along with minimum technical requirements for the venue and an image of the floor plan. It is necessary to replace The Central Theatre's sound reinforcement system with a new sound reproduction system that offers Delta Q for constant and even sound coverage and delivers high SPL and clarity across all media. In line with Medway Council's actions to address the climate crisis, the replacement system needs to be one built with sustainability in mind and feature auto standby functions which consume less power, and dual voltage and current feeds which allow the system to self-monitor and deliver voltage only when required.
