- Process Monitoring and Evaluation of the Sustainable Farm Incentive Pilot
Project Description :- Pre-Market Engagement Event: Defra is developing three new schemes to reward environmental land management. During the next three years we will be piloting these schemes with farmers, foresters and other land managers to ensure they work in practice and deliver for the environment. The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) is the first of the Pilots to launch and Defra are seeking support in designing and delivering monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the Pilot. During this session we will provide further background on the SFI, the anticipated role for a contractor, expected timelines for procuring this support and highlight related work that is also in the pipeline. We will also outline: why we believe that this work will be best delivered by a consortium and how we can facilitate supplier matching. Note that we welcome tenders from across the marketplace and prior experience of evaluating Agri-Environment Schemes will not be a mandatory pass criteria for evaluating bids.
