- Prj 1133 Online Counselling And Support Service Children And Young People
North Central London CCG is seeking to commission an early intervention, easy to access, online, in and out of hours counselling and support service to young people aged 11-26th birthday people living, attending school or with GP registration in the NCL boroughs.The aims and objectives of the service will be to:
a. Improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health of CYP by providing an early response to emotional wellbeing and/or emerging mental health needs
b. Improve CYP access to services and support through the use of digital services built around the needs and views of CYP
c. Increase early detection of mental health problems so they can be addressed promptly, thus preventing problems from getting worse and requiring a more specialist response
d. Improve access to the provision of self-care tools and resources which support CYP and their families to help themselves and build resilience
e. Improve partnership working across the whole CYP mental health system by working in collaboration with local services and support building on, complementing and enhancing existing service provision
f. Improve access to services for CYP who are vulnerable/disadvantaged and hard to reach by removing some of barriers to meet their needs, such as associated stigma
