Mid Devon District Council (MDDC) has secured funding from Historic England to help regenerate Cullompton Town Centre through the High Streets Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) programme.The programme is a national project aiming to unlock the potential of high streets across England, fuelling economic, social and cultural recovery, with 68 high streets offered funding. Cullompton is one of only 10 successful High Streets in the South West region. The Higher Bullring Public Realm Enhancement project, delivered in partnership with Devon County Council, will seek to enhance the heritage setting of the Higher Bullring public realm while providing a flexible, extended community space for community events and cultural activities.
