Description : The British Embassy in Bogota is seeking to procure the Provision of service to develop a pilot project inValle del Cauca to promote employment opportunities for women and young people in the constructionsector. OBJECTIVE: Develop a training and labour inclusion model for women and young people in the construction sector through a pilotproject in Valle del Cauca, which allows the process to be documented and standardised, by creating tools that canbe replicated in other regions and with other actors in the construction value chain.The pilot project focuses on four dimensions: i) engaging companies; ii) promoting a more inclusive organisationalculture; iii) training final beneficiaries; and (iv) documenting the experience.SCOPE: Understand the current state of companies with regards to gender equality and social inclusion,as well as their internal needs and challenges in order to advance in the goal of being moreinclusive.
