Description : Public Health England (PHE) requires the provision of a virus particle counting system for use in its Medical Interventions Group.The system will be used for quantification of virus banks required for the characterisation of fixed and/or live ACDP Hazard Group 2 and 3 agents.The proposed solution MUST be able to fulfil all of the following requirements:- Be able to quantify virus particles in inactivated banks of viruses (Generally chemically inactivated with aldehydes)- Be able to analyse particles within the size range of 30 nm to 10 µm [bidders must be able to provide/state their size range and accuracy in nanometres].- Be able to calculate the concentration of virus samples within the range of 1E05 to 1E11 / mL- Be able to give an indication of the size distribution of a preparation- Be able to analyse small volumes of sample [bidders must be able to provide/state the minimum sample size that can be tested]- Provide information on specific size subtypes.- Be able to characterize individual particles in a sample population- Be ready to run without the requirement for extensive calibration- Be portable for use at different sites with a minimum of set up and calibration after moving the instrument (bidders must ... - Documents :
