- Leicester City Council ('the Council') would like to consult the market in relation to its waste management contract(s), including, but not limited to: household waste collections, disposal and treatment; recycling, food waste collection and associated services.
The current provision is delivered via an Integrated Waste Management contract. This PFI arrangement expires in May 2028.
At this stage it is soft market test only and NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION
