Description : North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of NHS North East and North Cumbria ICB (the Relevant Authority), who are undertaking a competition to commission General Dental Access service and Urgent Dental Care services. These will be broken down into the following lots• Lot 1 - Durham Central North• Lot 2 - Durham Central South• Lot 3 - Sunderland North (no urgent care)• Lot 4 - Sunderland South ( no urgent care)• Lot 5 - Darlington• Lot 6 - Berwick Town North• Lot 7 - Berwick Town South • Lot 8 - Carlisle• Lot 9 - Workington• Lot 10 - Copeland• Lot 11 - CockermouthThe contract term is for an initial period of 7 years commencing on 01 January 2025, with an option to extend for a further 3 years at the discretion of the Relevant Authority and subject to satisfactory contractual and financial performance.The closing date for submission of competition response is by 12:00 noon 08 April 2024.
