Description : Support Service for Personal Health / Wheelchair Budgets - Call for Expressions of InterestNHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) is working on behalf of Southport&Formby CCG and South Sefton CCG who wish to make a call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for a Support Service for Personal Health / Wheelchair Budgets.Reaching Crossens in the north to Bootle in the south, Sefton is surrounded by Lancashire to the north and east, Liverpool to the south and the Irish sea to the west. Sefton as a whole has a population in the region of 280,000. There are pockets of both severe deprivation and extreme wealth and earnings are 14% below the weekly national average. 52% of the population are female and 1 in 5 of the total population is 65 and over. 3 in every 100 residents are from a BME background and it is estimated that the total population will increase by 2.2% by 2037. 1 in 4 Sefton residents have their day to day activities limited by having a long-term condition.
