Project Description :- Defra will be hosting an Early Market Engagement event for the supply of evaluation services for the Natural Environment Investment Readiness Fund (NEIRF) on 8th June 2021 at 11:00 -12:00 midday via TEAMs. There will be a presentation on the NEIRF, pilot funded projects followed by a Q&A session. The Natural Environment Investment Readiness Fund (IRF) aims to increase the number of financing options available for natural environment schemes by supporting the development of a pipeline of projects that can protect and enhance the natural environment and generate revenue from ecosystem services in order to attract and repay investment. The objectives for evaluation will be to assess if the Investment Readiness Fund scheme aims and objectives have been met in relation to process, impact and value for money, specifically to: a) assess the efficacy of the grants scheme, b) make recommendations to improve IRF grant scheme delivery and implementation as projects progress, c) assess and recommend how IRF outputs can be integrated into policy and practice, to support the development of wider environmental policy, d) assess the extent to which projects have developed scalable and replicable natural environment revenue-generating models; e) in relation to long term outcomes e.g. such as increased market capacity and capability; to develop a market/broader funding base fo... - Documents :
