Project Description :- The National Physical Laboratory wishes to procure a medium-sized, self-contained metallographic cut-off machine equipped with an abrasive cutting wheel. NPL`s Advanced Engineering Materials group will use the new machine to section mid-sized samples of materials including metals, ceramics, hardmetals and cermets. Delivery of the machine is required by the end of November 2021. There will be ongoing service requirements.
