Luton Council will be holding Meet The Buyer event - early market engagement, in relation to Advocacy Services for Adults.
We would like to invite you to attend the event prior to publishing this tender. The event will be held remotely via MS Teams on Thursday 09/11/23 at 1:00pm and will outline our requirements, the tender process, provide some guidance on Social Value and provide an opportunity to ask questions. If you wish to attend, please email Kasia Kosciuszko no later than 27/10/23 5:00pm on kasia.kosciuszko@luton.gov.uk to register your interest.
Confirmations with a link to Teams meeting will be sent w/c 30/10/2023.
Commissioned service will be able to offer information, advice, support, and advocacy services in advocacy service provision. The aim is to deliver high-quality, responsive, inclusive, and person-focused statutory and non-statutory advocacy services to eligible residents in Luton Borough.
Advocacy services would include:
• NHS Complaints Advocacy
• Independent Care Act Advocacy
• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Relevant Person's Paid Representative Services (RPPR)
• Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
• Community Development
• Community Advocacy
