Description : NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England would like to inform potential bidders of a number of market engagement events which will be held during April for the procurement of community based diagnostics services as per the recommendations of the Independent Report by Professor Sir Mike Richards reference: (Publication reference PAR242) which is available for download on NHS England's websitehttps://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/diagnostics-recovery-and-renewal-report-of-the-independent-review-of-diagnostic-services-for-nhs-england/The launch event for this engagement will be held on 25 March 1200hrs - 1500hrs via virtual session.NHS England is seeking to increase capacity of diagnostics in the NHS through the development of community diagnostics hubs. The configuration of such hubs in terms of services or facilities (or a combination of both) are likely to vary across ICS/STP footprints.
