Description : Upgrade lighting to new LED lighting, contractor is required to provide a design completed by a suitably qualified lighting designer.The lighting design must be compliant with current legislation, standards, and regulations to ensure that the recommended maintained illuminance levels for the designated area has been met, and that DgP have met their obligations under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.The lighting designer's proposal should demonstrate how compliance will be achieved to:a) Meet the minimum energy efficiency requirements of the Building Regulations Approved Document L including sub-metering requirements.b) Utilise by design the availability of natural daylight and lighting controls for daylight offsetting by controlling the luminaire output levels luminaires and integrating other technology such as sun pipes into design options.c) Surpass the minimum efficiency requirements through adopting additional system enhancements such as lighting control systems for which may consist of manual control, scene setting, occupancy sensing, time scheduling, daylight response, demand response, dimming, etc. d) The inclusion of emergency lighting as part of the lighting design in accordance with the requirements of BS5266, BS EN 1838, BS EN 50172, and T... - Documents :
