- Invitation To Tender For The Provision Of Concession Contract For Electric Vehicle Charge Points In Council Car Parks
Herefordshire Council plans to introduce a well-designed EV charging scheme to Herefordshire to enable residents and visitors to travel around the county and beyond. The expansion of EV charge points in Herefordshire will make driving electric vehicles a viable alternative to driving combustion engines. Herefordshire Council wishes to secure a delivery partner to expand and operate the electric vehicle charging network in order to support the anticipated increase in electric vehicle ownership and subsequent demand. Herefordshire Council wishes to have a Concession Contract, whereby a single supplier will be appointed to operate and expand the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network in accordance with the Council-s specification and contract. The supplier will be responsible for financing the scheme. Herefordshire Council expect the contract to operate on profit share basis. The Contact Duration will be for 10 year + extension of up to 5 years (in any number of periods not less than 2 years).
