Description : Swindon Borough Council invites expression of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the Integrated Sustainability Appraisal/Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Swindon Borough Local Plan (Regulation 18). Project DescriptionThe primary aim of this commission is to produce a robust and up-to-date Sustainability Appraisal of the new Swindon Local Plan which incorporates the requirements of the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004 (commonly referred to as the 'Strategic Environmental Assessment Regulations'). In doing so it should identify and assess the likely social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed spatial strategy, policies and sites together with the reasonable alternatives.
