Description : Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are issuing this Prior Information Notice to make the market aware of a future tendering opportunity. HEE previously issued a notice regarding the same project with the intention to commence the tender exercise in January 2021 - due to the current pandemic and the strain this has placed on a number of organisations, especially those within London, a decision has been made to stall this procurement and instead this will now commence in mid March.HEE currently commissions Internship and Pre-Doctoral bridging programme training places from two London-based HEIs and Post-Doctoral bridging places from a third London-based HEI. Health Education England intends to commence a new procurement in March 2021 for the delivery of an Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Awards programme (to include three lots for Internships, Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Bridging Programmes) for healthcare professionals (excluding doctors and dentists) who wish to develop careers that combine clinical research, research leadership with continued clinical practice and clinical development.
