    Abstract: The University wishes to purchase an in situ environmental system for a new Field Emission Gun Analytical Electron Microscope dedicated for β, γ-radioactive materials to be housed at the MRF at UKAEA. Such system will enable direct, real-rime data acquisition to trace the evolution of microstructure and study gas-material interactions at elevated temperatures. One of the main applications of such holder enabled is the study of gas-metal interaction using a range of gaseous environments, which is one of the important topics for future in-reactor fission materials research and co-generation systems.
