- Tenders are invited for ID 3765066 - DfE - Trading Standards Service Procurement of a Mass Comparator CfT CA Unique ID: SSD-4774 Evaluation Mechanism: Price/Cost Effectiveness Description: The Department for the Economy, Trading Standards Service-s (TSS) role is to promote and maintain fair trading, protect consumers and enable reputable businesses to thrive in Northern Ireland. The TSS is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to calibrate mass in the range 1mg to 25kg. In addition, TSS also provides the calibration service, to industry, up to a maximum capacity of 1000kg. The Client wishes to purchase a mass comparator to enable TSS to calibrate and maintain its own 0.001g to 20g working standard and test weights as well as providing a calibration service to other clients who have weights of similar mass.
