Description : ‘Pre-market engagement exercise- Before launching a procurement procedure, PSNI, and Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD) are conducting pre-market engagement with a view to informing the procurement and economic operators with relation to the opportunity of future procurement requirements. The objectives of this exercise are to:
— prevent unachievable projects from reaching Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) stage;
— gain initial supplier awareness, engagement and opinion, resulting in a confidence around viability of concept;
— gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions;
— understand risks and issues not previously considered;
— inform the outline business case; and
— inform the procurement strategy.
The Police College NI is responsible for delivering the majority of PSNI learning, development and training. The focus of the Police College is to develop and inspire resourceful and diligent police officers and police staff who have the skills and behaviours. PSNI now wishes to explore the procurement of technology required to enhance the management of the Police College.
