Abstract: Hurstpierpoint College is an independent co-educational day and boarding school at Hurstpierpoint village, near Hassocks, West Sussex BN6 9JS. There are currently 1333 students on roll from 4 to 18 years of age. The College is designed around two quadrangles, with an Inner and Outer Quad, and incorporated into the main building is the College Chapel, St John-s. Today the campus has grown to 37 buildings with diverse age and styles, many with listed status, the wide-ranging age and usage create very diverse cleaning requirements especially in teaching labs, technical workshops, the chapel, theatres and dance studios. . There are 567 beds in total for boarding students across 7 Boarding Houses, plus 6 Day Houses for non-residential students.
