Abstract: The aim of this procurement process is for the appointment of Main Contractor(s) and sub-contractors to deliver the Residences Planned Maintenance Programme (PMP) and Fire Strategy Planned Maintenance Programme (FSPMP) for summer 2023.This Contract is separated into three Lots:Lot 1PMP & FSPMP works - Hodge Hall A BlockFSPMP works - Hodge Hall B BlockLot 2:FSPMP Only - Talybont North House-s C, F, M, R, S, E and Southgate HousePMP & FSPMP - House W only.Lot 3:FSPMP Only - Talybont South House-s 2, 4, 6, 8, 23 and 24PMP & FSPMP - House-s 1 and 2 (compartmentation and fire alarm only at House 2).A maximum of one Supplier will be appointed to each Lot.Due to the short timescales to deliver this programme of works and the fact that not all the design work has been completed, the University is undertaking a 2-stage procurement exercise.The Two Stage Open Book is a system of preconstruction phase project processes governed by the early appointment of a full project team.The Two-Stage Open Book model reduces industry bidding costs, enables faster mobilisation and provides the opportunity for the University to work earlier with a single Integ... - Documents :
