As part of this market sounding exercise, TfL wishes to seek your views on the extent of your capabilities to supply HEPA Air filters which could replace the current Air Filters used within the HVAC system meeting the technical requirements described in section 5 relating to essential performance characteristics of both initial and discharged efficiency, air flow resistance, test dust capacity and arrestance.TfL may also require a filter element to be assessed/tested in the future to ascertain the dust holding capacity of current filters in use the S-Stock fleet of 192 trains. This is a valuable preventative maintenance measures to identify an optimum operation of the HVAC system with the potential to optimise the maintenance regime. Therefore, a supplier services may be required to perform this assessment at predetermine or regular intervals if needed.If you wish to participate in this marketing sounding questionnaire please follow the instructions in the attached document.
