Description : Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) has the requirement for the provision of a comprehensive and innovative waste management service in accordance with legislation, best practice and the waste hierarchy for various sites managed by the Council. The contractor shall develop and implement the services to accept, handle, treat, transport and dispose of waste material covered by this contract. The specification, including the waste streams, can be found in the tender document set. The main objectives of this contract are: 1. Working with the Council to deliver on the waste hierarchy and achieve targeted improvements; 2. Providing innovative solutions for waste management, operational efficiencies, cost savings, circular economy and enhance sustainability profile; 3.
