The council is seeking to procure a development partner to develop a number of sites presently within the Council-s ownership in the Borough - either through packages, or stand alone development - through a JVDA. Partners will be selected via a Public Contracts Negotiation compliant route - the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN) - from an initial tender process. The tender process is due to begin in Early 2024 and end in Summer/Autumn 2024. From then - and subject to Cabinet approval to award the contract once a development partner has been selected - the development partner will enter into a contract with the Council, and begin to deliver new affordable homes for the Borough.
