Description : Glen Parva Parish Council is considering a major refurbishment of the play equipment in the park on Dorothy Avenue, Glen Parva, Leicester LE2 9JD. They invite tenders from suitably skilled contractors for the design, supply and installation of new equipment and the removal of some items already installed that are no longer fit for purpose.New Equipment to incorporate items suitable for Balance, Climbing, Traversing and which can also be used by children with mobility issues. Ideas and suggestions to be determined in consultation with the Parish Council. All precautions to protect the integrity of the site and adjoining paths, car park and property must be taken. The public must not have access to any of the contractor's items and materials being used as part of the contract. The contractor shall safeguard the works with temporary barricading of a "Heras" type of at least 2 metres in height. The fence panels shall be constructed so that they deter climbing and will be anchored into freestanding concrete/rubber blocks, the panels locked to prevent unauthorised access.
