By identifying key areas for intervention, investment, and development, the study will pave the way for the corridor-s holistic transformation into a vibrant, sustainable, and attractive destination for businesses, residents, and investors. The goal, is to position the Golden Mile as a leading example of sustainable urban development, ensuring its long-term resilience, inclusivity, and economic vitality.
Moreover, the study will use baseline evidence and the projected needs of emerging growth sectors to translate its findings into a visual, spatial plan. It will identify key sites and locations for intervention to support the corridor's repositioning. This plan will be comprehensive, incorporating several strategic elements and considerations for curating an ideal mix of amenities and uses along the corridor. The study will also explore and emphasise the role of the Great West Corridor and the Golden Mile in particular on Regional, National, and Global scales, highlighting its strategic significance as a key economic driver and a gateway linking Heathrow Airport to central London and the North"
