Rough sleeping is the most severe and visible form of homelessness. The Mayor is committed to ensuring there be an immediate and sustainable route off the streets for everyone sleeping rough in London. Since he came to office in 2016, the Mayor-s Life Off the Streets programme has helped more than 12,000 people to leave the streets for good. The commissioning of City Hall-s rough sleeping services is underpinned by the Rough Sleeping Commissioning Framework (the “Framework”). Guided by the Framework, a decision has been made to procure two contracts, both of which will commence on 1st April 2023.
